This seems to be an interesting day to start writing a blog.
Three-fourth of the year is now in the books.
"Obamacare" is now one day old in operational model. As expected there have been some hiccups, but there will be sufficient time to fix most of the minor problems. While I am not enthusiastic about this healthcare law, I feel it nudges the Medical Industrial Complex towards a corrective course. I plan to write my thoughts on this law in a subsequent post.
The Republican-controlled house has chosen not to pass a bill for continued funding, thus bringing all non-essential services to a halt indefinitely, including closure of all the National Parks. Today is the 123rd birthday of Yosemite National Park. Everyone currently in the Parks have 48 hours to pack up and leave.
The median income in the U.S remained the same in 2012 as in 2010 - just over $51K. No economic recovery for the middle class as yet.
Google turned 15 last week, as did that yellow line on the TV screen that marks the first down in football telecasts!
